Choosing VULNERABLE YOUNG PEOPLE as a beneficiary

It’s important to seek the advice of a qualified solicitor or trustee when making your Will. The Law Institute or Society in your state or territory can refer you to a solicitor.

The bequest you leave may be small or large. Streetwork does not receive any recurrent Government funding, so every single dollar donated counts.

Here are some ways to make a bequest to Streetwork:
- leave a fixed percentage of your estate to Streetwork
- leave a gift - shares, property, or items suitable for young people who are impacted by
  mental health issues, school disengagement, crime, unemployment, sleeping rough or
  substance mis-use.

Your age doesn’t matter. Having a will gives you and your family peace of mind.

You can alter your will at any time. As your circumstances change, you can choose to revise an existing Will to add new gifts or change how you choose to distribute your estate.

It’s a good idea to review your will every few years so that it reflects your current wishes.

Below are some examples of how bequests are given to us for your ease of reference. However, please consult your lawyer on the wording you should use to achieve your wishes.

“I give to Streetwork Australia Limited (ABN 52 606 540 970) of 10-12 Clanwilliam Street, Willoughby NSW 2068 the whole of my Estate for its general purposes and declare that the receipt of the Executive Officers at the time shall be sufficient discharge of my Executors Duty.”
