SKILL BUILDING PROGRAMS
Our Skill Building Programs provide at-risk youth an outlet for anti-social and destructive behaviours. These programs also serve to reconnect young people with education, further learning and career aspirations.
URBAN ART
This program helps teens to develop aerosol and contemporary art-style skills legally, on provided walls. Classes are held weekly in Chatswood.
ANGER MANAGEMENT AND FITNESS
We run a program of physical exercise to combat anger management issues. This program allows the young person to develop positive relationships, self-awareness and self-esteem.
STREET DUKE OF EDINBURGH
This is an innovative, street-based, application of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, customised for young people living in difficult circumstances.
STREETSTYLZ DANCE
This Hip Hop dance program is run at Warringah Mall weekly. StreetStylz gives young people an opportunity to learn a new skill while providing a "creative release".
BREAKING tHE CYCLE
We run a number of issue focused programs throughout the year. These programs address problem areas such as alcohol and drug use, anti-social behaviour and anger management.
SKATEBOARD ART
Young people are engaged by skateboard art as a creative release, while also providing a positive and safe environment to work in.
SAILING
This program gives young people an opportunity to enjoy being on the water while learning how to sail. As they learn, they are given responsibilities to build esteem and confidence.
