TUNE INTO YOUR MENTAL HEALTH

Mental Health Month is celebrated annually in NSW during the month of October. It encourages all of us to think about our mental health and wellbeing, and to understand the importance of good mental health in our everyday lives.

This year's theme is 'Tune In". Tuning in is about being aware of what is happening inside of ourselves and in the world around us. By tuning in, we can build self-awareness, make effective choices, reduce the impact of worry, and build positive connections.

Find out more about how to get involved at https://mentalhealthmonth.wayahead.org.au/

Thank you to Ku-ring-gai Council for your grants

Thank you to Ku-ring-gai Council for the two grants - one to deliver our Ready for School, Ready for Life and the other to assist with the delivery of our Urban Art Program at the St Ives Youth Hub. Both programs are part of our early intervention and prevention strategy that allows us to support more vulnerable young people in the community to turn their lives around.

Streetwork receives no recurrent government funding and we are only able to fund the delivery of these programs with donations and grants received from our generous supporters. Thanks again to the Ku-ring-gai Council for your ongoing support of StreetWork.
